And trust me, if I was less angst-allergic I would totally be bugging you about that SPN epic of yours...as it is, I'm waffling on whether to risk it. How would you rate it on the angst scale? Total despair? Sorta happy ending, but not enough to wash away the taste of 25,000+ words of suffering? 50/50 balance? Generally hopeful with select dark spots?
Oh, if you mean my SpnBB, it's hardly angsty at all! There's a little teenage angst, and a big happy ending, and lots of goofiness in between. It's 26000 words and I'm thinking to myself, wow, that's short, lol!
The epic, the one I'm finishing, is on the angst scale, a ten out of ten, but it's a vaguely happy ending--no one really dies and there's a glimmer of hope at the end, at least. :) That sucker's over 88,000 words and I've been writing it for eons! I dream about writing it--it's like I'm being haunted by the darn thing. I'll miss it when it's done. *GGGG*

Lol, what really cracks me up is when I remember my starting estimates for total wordcount on just about every story I've written - "Oh, I can write this story in 15,000 words, lalala!" - *snorts* yeah, more like 28,000 and counting. XD
