I'm like the crappy RL friend you don't hear from for months who calls you at twelve at night, totally sober, to go on at length explaining just how much they love you before dropping off the map again. Also, you're much better than that RL friend that calls at midnight. At least email is generally quiet, and we don't have to be polite at the other end, making neutral 'uh huh' noises while planning how to get off the phone as quickly as possible so we can get back to sleep. See - you're much lower maintainence.
