Hooooooome!

No work! *GGG*

So, at last, due to popular demand, *cricket cricket* I'm posting Mariposa and I've discovered something--I don't really remember how the story goes! And I wrote it! I was trying to do warnings and characters and I'm all duh? headscratch. So, that's kind of cool, actually, because I'll be reading with whoever instead of just editing. So far, I like it. *G*

All I really remember is that it's kind of fucked up and it made me cry in part that I do remember because I kind of traumatized myself. Ha! And also, I got the *best* artwork for that story, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] digitalwave,[livejournal.com profile] lapetite_kiki, (who makes the most *beautiful* Whit/Clark art ever) and [livejournal.com profile] danceswithgary. In fact, a framed [livejournal.com profile] digitalwave print of that pivotal part of the fic is hanging over my desk as I type. Ah Whitney--you weren't in show all that long and I didn't even like you until I wrote you. Now, I can't let you go...*snivels*

I'll be visiting my flist today and leaving pointless, rambling comments, just so you know. Love you!

Yeah, I saw your first post for Mariposa at Ao3, and, yeah, it's a fucking helluva weeper. You know, and hopefully you take this the right way because I sincerely mean it as a compliment, I cannot read a few of your stories again--ever. Brothers and Hereoes, as you might be aware of, is one of those, but maybe Mariposa isn't. Or more likely it is, but we shall see. You write some of the best, most affecting stories I've ever encountered, ones I'm unable to forget or overcome. Does that make sense? In other words, I cry A LOT reading some of your work, and I can't handle doing that very often, especially when I go into it knowing that will happen.

Oh, and do I get a rambling comment? Pretty please? :)

EEEEEeeeeeeee!!!!!! *flails spasticly* OMG! You have no idea (ok, maybe you do) how happy this makes me!!!!!! *Kermil!Flails!!!!!*

Is it odd that the stories of yours that break me the most are the ones that I love to re-read? Like this, The Dog, and Firebird & the Grey Wolf. Though, I do have a very very soft spot for a certain special story. *g*

And OMG! You are still so evil! I never gave Whitney a second look before you, but now, I'm totally in love with Eric Johnson himself. *g*

*smothers you in love and hugs* ♥

Ten years later and he still feels like the biggest waste of a character SV ever did.

Mariposa that’s the story where Whit… where Whit… I can’t think about it. It’s not fair. :-|

Clark and Whit are happily in love and growing old together! Yep, that’s more like it! :-)
