So far, we're doing just fine. Still have power and I've got my fingers crossed we'll keep it. It's windy and wet and looks kind of cool from the window, all safe and warm behind glass. It's actually warm outside, wind and rain aside. I feel sorry for the squirrels.

Governor Christie has been on the news on and off all day. God, he's so New Jersey. He's pretty much been telling New Jerseyians we're a pack of dumb fucks and to try not and trip over our own feet and kill ourselves. It's actually making me laugh. He's such an asshole but I have to admit, he's probably taking the right tack.

Dang--our lights just browned out. :(

That's good to hear! I did not choose a good weekend to visit a friend in Boston. But hopefully Jersey holds up well. I want to go back to my union city apartment!

So far, we're ok. Just lots of rain, but that's about it. Dunno what they're calling for overnight to tomorrow really. I never pay much attention to the weathermen anyways. lol

Hope y'all are okay. Storms are fascinating and beautiful. I grew up in tornado alley and can remember standing at our front window watching all hell break loose. Completely oblivious to the danger.
