POWER!!!!

Internet still hit and miss but we got power!!

I'm mainlining coffee like a junkie, omg!!! This morning I was wrapped up in the covers and sniveling like a boob, my tears freezing on my cheeks (well okay maybe not but it FELT LIKE IT!) and now, I'm watching the news and feeling pretty damn grateful how easy we got off compared to other folks.

Tonight, I plan to be up all night long, and any moment that we connect, I'll be spamming you!

Fanfuckingtastic!! I hate being without power. I remember the Ice Storm of '98 - power was out for a week for us, much longer for others. I'm very glad I was born into a time with electricity. Enjoy your heat, hot water, and lights.

It's been a while since we've had to do without it, but I still vividly remember trying to heat up soup in the fireplace. It's best if you take the label off the can.
