I had turned off my stats/my guests option when i joined lj & i'm a little freaked that i know who has/has not visited my journal. But the icky thing is that now other journal owners know my weirdo viewings too.

Won't this new feature bring offence to journal owners who don't get a comment from a lurker? I think in this case Ignorance really is bliss. I'm gonna avoid checking the Home page, it shouldn't be difficult i hadn't been there since joining lj. Although it's there so i might not be able to help myself now grrrrrrrrr

No worries. If you have My Guests turned off, you're still invisible when you go sneaking around other people's journals. I just tested it with two of my journals that have My Guests turned off. *hug*

I never ever look at the homepage - it seems pretty pointless to me. But apparently if the 'my guests' is turned off you actually *are* invisible. Maybe. Or something.

I wouldn't've even noticed that if you hadn't said anything. I'm on the home page periodically just because I have to log in there sometimes, but I hadn't looked over the new version closely. I can blame lack of traffic on me never posting. It's certainl contagious throughout LJ. It seems like fandoms just don't fandom like they used to, or I'm in the wrong circles (as this Teen Wolf thing seems to be a hot fandom and I've never seen it).
