*koff blush*
I'm totally not sure what to make of it, but for some reason it's endlessly entertaining. It's all full of intrigue and mystery and conspiracy and I totally blame
anitac588 for pointing out the way to this dark, twisty and ultimately hysterical path. The theories! The tragedy! Oh reeaaaally? Oh yeesssss....

People in the know, friends of friends who know, proof, no proof, photographic proof...my stars!!
Perception is everything. One photograph can be seen so many different ways. Also, it seems as though people don't understand just what a camera does. That unhappy squint becomes a belly laugh when you look at a series of prints taken one after the other. Sorry folks, one picture *does* lie.
Anyhoo, it was gangs of fun, and reminded me a bit of the times my dad and I would dish on the neighbors and that one soap he somehow bizarrely got hooked on for a year. My dad *loved* gossip. It was weird. But funny. I was sad that I had no one to share the treasure trove of biz-hunh? I'd discovered. Oh well. I couldn't have shared this stuff with him anyway. Whereas, my mom might actually have listened to this stuff. She was bored by gossip but would have enjoyed the Twilight-Zoney what-the-fuckness of it all.
Of course, I have my own feelings about all this stuff which I keep close to the vest. Oh heck yeah, I have my theories. ;)

The objects of our obsessions should NOT be bothered by our obsessions. imho.

My least fave part of the whole thing is the viciousness that is directed to the real life girlfriends/wives. I think Daneel and Gen have had some really weird, shitty stuff happen with J2 fans, and one of the guys in a band I like actually lost his girlfriend because of the freaky fans. *sigh*
And that should've been special BUS to hell lol!

I was pretty sure you'd had some letter problems there. *GRIN*
"Hmmm. She must mean bus. Though special *butt* to hell works as well..."

That part of the fandom, the hatred towards the girlfriends/wives, makes me want to not be associated with the fandoms. It's really sick. And potentially dangerous. it doesn't take much for people to cross the line to stalker/real life threat.
That said....so what is this tinfoilt hat community? i get bored sometimes....
And hello again.

Here's the link to scary town (http://spnanonhaven.livejournal.com/). The other places are members only I think and I can't get with those. I definitely get the feeling that this comm doesn't take itself all *that* seriously. :)
