I hope ya'll had a great Valentine's day! I did! We stayed home--BG was in for the weekend, so we decided to treat each other! We had crab legs, hushpuppies, and frogmore stew, with chocolate for desert! It was pretty damn nice. Somehow my beloved child decided that Walking Dead would be the perfect show to watch while we ate. What the fuck? And THEN! She salted her food with her tears, sobbed into her crab legs because a character died. Poor shnoogums. I didn't blame her, I cried myself the first time I saw it. It's kind of fun, stuffing your face and discussing your show. I wish I could have convinced them that what we really wanted to watch was SpN. I tried to pull the "SpN is nowhere as gross as WD" card, but whatever ep Mr. R happened to catch last time I tried to make him watch SpN had ended up with him running out of the room, all yelping and grimacing and swearing that Show was the grossest show ever in the history of TV, so... anyhoo, VD was fantastic. Group hug, y'all! Happy Valentine's Day! ♥




In other news, I worked my ass off on the next bit of PE. I'm closer--thank,s David Bowie and Wu-Tang--but I'm not totally there. I am going to post what I have. It's only 3000 words but it's better than nothing and still longer than most chapters posted at AO3.

Well, if he saw that Valentine's ep where they eat each other, then yeah, that was pretty much the grossest thing ever :)

Hubby and I spent the day basically lounging around, alternating between sex, food and Star Trek. I've had the best day ever!

Oh man, I so know how you feel. We may have talked about this before but hubby doesn't like SPN either. Well, he thinks SPN totally stole me from him too so that has something to do with it, but he would tell me how gross it was and how I must be possessed to be so into it, when we watched. I got him to somehow watch up to the end of Season 5 :P

Yeah, I concur that the Valentine's ep is pretty gross, if that was the one. Mike really likes SPN but he's only at season 7, although he's had some spoilers for after that.

Lol! Mr. R is rather...sensitive, hah! He's gotten much more so in his golden years, poor dear. He really can't handle the blood and stuff. I was surprised he actually sat through Walking Dead! (every time I go to type Dead, I automatically type Dean, lol!!) It's okay, we love his delicate, fuzzy little heart. He gives me the side eye when Show is on, too. Too bad for him, hah!

Ach, my baby girl is way past babyhood! She's going to be 29 (!) this year but she'll always be my baby! Whether she like it or not. ;D

LOL Poor Mr. R. being scarred by SpN. The only ep I ever watched with my Mom was the musical one. She'll walk by my or Ori's computers as we're watching it and just shake her head at times. lol The family pretty much gave up on asking about the 'weird' things we watch though. *G*
