It's a sad loss. People who knew him say he was a wonderful man.

I can believe that. He seemed so together, so *there*, you know?

Yes. I've seen the word 'mensch' used several times today. I wish now I had bought that photography book he did of naked fat women. (Probably was too cheap to pay the price!)

My childhood is disappearing faster and faster every day. There he is, the best half of my original OTP.

Kirk/Spock is THE original OTP.

Hearts are breaking the world over.

*sobs*

It's just...i dunno. It's hitting me harder than any other death of the crew. Damnit.

I know, I know. He was my first TV crush, he was part of my first ship before I even know what that was. Heck, it probably didn't exist that first season. I wrote a fanletter (i was 13!), I made a scrapbook. When I was older, I got that he was a truly cool individual, a thoughtful, caring person. It's a terrible loss to so, so many of us. I don't think he's going to disappear into history. Someone is always going to be discovering Mr. Spock for the first time again.

Oh, man. He wasn't my first crush, per se (that was Scotty), but i loved him. It irritated me that McCoy and Kirk were always trying to make him 'show emotions' - he had plenty of emotions! He just didn't splash them all over the place. Spock was just...awesome.

And Mr. Nimoy was an incredible man.
