I think if they use Dean's secret as the reason for some kind of blow up between them then that would make the whole Amara thing a waste of our time. That just pulls her down to the level of Ruby. What would be cool is if Dean spills, they argue (get it out of their system) and then work on it--TOGETHER. For once. ;D
