This ep made "Bugs" look like a freakin' masterpiece.

Sam had no POV, no meaningful scenes with God, so the beautiful work done on his faith all season was flushed down the drain in the matter of 2 eps.

Dean and Sam were spectators in their own show, and the only actions they did do were comedic and flew in the face of all prior history with any of these characters. They didn't do nearly enough to establish the full weight of the power of Dean's bond with Amara this season. And that line about Dean lying when he's apologized to Sam in the past was one of the most tone deaf lines to ever come out of a character's mouth. I don't recognize these characters.

The sheer list of people they love that all these characters on their ill-conceived "heist-movie style" plan have had a hand in hurting or killing should have meant they could all barely stand to be in the same room with them. Ugh.

How ironic that "Free to be You and Me" and "The End" were on TNT today. Remember when Lucifer was utterly terrifying? You'd never think so from the last 3rd of this season. If I were Sam, I'd burn my bed and most of the contents of my bedroom after this, not give Lucifer family counseling.
