Because my newest bit of Fire Bird just wants to be a laundry list of kinks, so I have to set those boys to the side until they behave. Also, I'm having massive problems with a strange plot bunny that *will not let me be!*
I've told this damn thing over and over "I can't write you" and still it persists--it's the one that I mention from time to time, a RDPS with the Beatles.
See-- I have this thing where I panic a lot, mostly about driving in the snow, having a heart attack and writing. I'm pretty good with everything else, but I can have a panic attack about driving in the snow in July. Hey. You knew when you came in here...
Any way, I want to write this thing so bad, but I have absolutely *no* idea how to do it. I've yakked about that before too. It's not like writing about England in the middle ages, there's no one around who remembers that (unless The Immortals are into slash?)And really, not too many of you out there remember the 60's (heh)--still,I don't want it to come off as silly or really WTF. Ah well-- jesus! whine , whine, whine!

In other news, the children are all home! Happy Mommy! YAAAAY!

See? We understand each other so! You want to hear something creepy? I always thought Paul and John made a lovely couple, even when I wasn't sure what a couple was. 'Course, I was also absolutely positive I was going to grow up and be a boy. No way was I going to be stuck being a girl forever!

But you see my dilema too? I'd have to do mountains of research, doing teenagers there's so much slang you have to know-- and this would be slang 40 years out of date and foreign to boot--oy!

Paul and John. that would explain a lot, wouldn't it! about that slang... I might remember quite a bit of Cockney slang from reading everything i could get my hands on about Beatlemania: gear, fab, potty, bird, ummm...hey, you could rent the movies, Like a Hard Days Night! And remember, John wrote a couple of books of poetry. and their girlfriends(and 1 wife) were Cynthia Lennon, (ringo)Maureen Cox, (george)Patti Boyd, (paul)Jane Asher...

OOO! you are so full of the good ideas! If I get this thing out, can I have you read it? Though god knows when that'll happen. I do have a few books on the Beatles I think, but renting the movies are a fabulous idea! Boy,, you remember a lot too, I'll have to pick your brains!
