SAD!!!
Where have I been? How did I not know that Kelly Freas and Will Eisner have passed on? I'm upset--
Will Eisner was one of the best writer/artists ever ever. The Spirit made my hearsing when I was a girl-- my sister and I lived for that book to come out, read it from cover to cover and we'd discect and discuss it until the next issue--"what do you think he meant, do you believe that, omg, that's funny--aww! Sad--would you do the Spirit? If he left the mask on--in a hot minute!"
And Kelly Freas did the covers of the mags I loved in my Wee!Roxy-hood, all those digest size SF magazines--are they still out there?
Fuck me. I'm getting old.
Ah well, more sex more coffee more laughs--that's the ticket!
