I'm suspended in a huge bowl of emotional turmoil which is very much like jello, only not the tart-sweet numminess.

My brain helpfully decided to shut down when I asked, "Brain! Summer Story, or Stand By Me, or Alexei, or this new thing with Bruce and Lucas that's been nibbling at my surprisingly shapely though slightly thin ankles?"

I know! You're saying, "But Mizz Rose, aren't you built along the same lines of a comfortable club chair?" And I say, "fuck off little kid." It's true though, yer mother once upon a time had a killer set of gams attached to her roly-poly body. Not only that, she can suck th..oh, where was I? Right! Stories!

so, all these things are bouncing around in my head and won't move, like an intestinal blockage. I probably could have gone with log jam there, hunh? Plus, I think at long last I know how to write this story I started a year ago, and had to drop because it wasn't working-- so now I 'm thinking how about I throw in some angsty 'I love young Clark, but he's straight, thus I shall suffer nobly' fic? God, I love that kind of shit! Shut up! I don't care, I like it!

Also this Bruce and Lex and Clark and Lucas thing chewing on my now toothpick like shin? It's Movie Bruce. Tim Burton's Batman. Ah? Ah? Okaaaay. No big deal, just a lovely visual. Michael was so adorable back then. And he's still the perfect Batman now.

So. What do you think? Did you understand that at all? If you did can you explain it to me?

And just so you know? I always thought Michael Keaton acted the role PERFECTLY. However? Lifelong DC comic geek here. Looking at him? Made me insane.

Don't take me wrong. I've seen a shit-load of MK films and I just adore him to bits. But he looked WRONG as Bruce.

Bruce Wayne has jet black slightly wavy hair. I'll let the piercing blue eyes of the comics go because that's the hardest to get in RL actor casting if you get an actor that otherwise acts the role perfectly.

Needless to say, I am soooo looking forward to Christian Bale's Bruce-Batman. He looks perfect. He broke my damn heart as a child in Empire of The Sun.

And though I've not seen him in his adult roles, (Iknow, I know, what is wrong with me? *g*) lexalot droolingly informs me that I have nothing at all to worry about.

If anyone can inhabit the obsessed headset of The Bat, it's Bale. Heh, I was already convinced of that just from Empire. Intense, like woah.

So, do I wanna see you write Bruce/Lucas? Hell, yeah!

However? I'm picturing CB, with MR and TW in this universe, just so you know. And what's his name that played Lucas? He was amazing and I can see him with CB easily. Heh, if Bats doesn't kill Lucas first.

Ah! But you have to understand, I grew up with Adam West playing Batman, and when when we heard that Michael Keaton ("WTF???? Mr. Mom is gonna be Batman????")had been chosen for the role, We expected more of the same *shudder* I drove Mr.Roxy crazy screaming about it, we were all so fricking pissed off. But when Michael was up on the screen being a giant freak, it was like a geekdom wide orgasm, like "Yes! Someone gets it!!" Good times, those. So I'm emotionally attached to Keaton, not to mention I love the way he looks. I know, it's one of those things where you either think ooooo hot or just plain ewww. I remember shamefully confessing to my sis one night that I thought he was hot, and she said, "Oh, thank God, I thought I was the only weirdo here." As for Christian Bale, he's the perfect choice for a young Batman, perfect! I'm so excited I made a fool of myself at the movies when the trailer for the movie came on. This is going to be so damn cool and I have no one who's into it like me to see it with! Waaaah!

Anyhoo, okay, Bats can look like CB in this thing, but he's gonna act like Keaton! Heh!
