Oh, I LIKE it!! It reminds me (oddly enough) of a fairytale book I had when I was a child, their eyes and the shapes of their cheeks...Mom still has it, I'm sure! I love it that they look so relaxed and belonging!
WOW! I didn't realize you were an artist, too! I'm seriously impressed. This reminds me of Gale Ferrer's classic K/S pictures, which also show a strong Beardsley influence.
You know I love your art, right? 'Cause I do!! I just adore your sense of style, and the textiles get me every single time. How wrong is it that I always have to tlak about your backgrounds before I touch on the Clex?
Speaking of touching the Clex (Heh.) Seriously yum! I can easily think of one way those two slid off the bed and ended up that relaxed. *EG*
Oh wow, Roxy, I love the style. The piece is fantastic. How did you make it? Is it a drawing or a print? God, I love the patterns and bold strokes juxtapposed against the simplicity and fine contours of the bodies.
This is so absolutely gorgeous! Besides Beardsley, it also reminds me of the japanese erotica where the bodies are just peeking out from layers of patterned fabric. you could be a textile designer! does your house look like this?
I do have more--I've actually got a few pieces in memories and I've got the other drawing I did for the zine, I'm posting it later tonight. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much, baby..it's a drawing, just tech pens and ink. I finally found a real nice super black ink--and I found out kimonos have the *most* amazing patterns! *grin*
Roxy, I shall kill you if I ever hear you bemoan your lack of talent. I love this. The patters and textures and pretty things. Not that I think boys are things. Okay, maybe a little. But I love this composition.
Oh, thanks! I always feel that the composition of my drawings are a little awkward, I think I write like I draw, always on the edge of toppling over, *grin* I'm so pleased you like this. These were fun to do. There's a companion piece to this, I'll probably put it up tonight or tomorrow.
Thank you! I've been thinking of posting some character sketches for a freaky little Lex -centric SF humor story that I don't think is ever going to be finished...Thanks so much for letting me know you liked my stuff!
