work. have I told you how much I hate work? *sigh* why why why was I born to be a spoiled rotten princess?
It's horrible, the rest of the fam has this puritan-german work ethic--it's scary. BG has had a job since she was 14, can you believe it? she hounded the local pizza place into hiring her under the table--(what? it's New Jersey--it's tradition). Mr. Roxy has worked since he was knee high to a grasshopper. And me? I got my first job at 16--and my next job at 21. It was sadly downhill from there, except for a brief period in time after BG was born and I got to be a stay at home mom. More on that another day (oy!)....
I asked for a transfer to the new Targe-hell they are building not far from the Rose Castle. I have to wait until January to find out what's what. If I last that long. Target is a weird place to work for. It *is* like working for family though. A huge dysfunctional family, with a repressive and over controlling distant father who makes up arbitrary rules and and only tells half the family about them and punishes the half that doesn't know what they are...*gasp* why, it's just like coming home everyday I go to work!
