Can anyone explain to a techno-stoop how to do screen captures? BG needs to do it for a project. I figured one of you might be able to explain it to me without wanting to choke me unconscious.

If you have a program like photoshop (or any other graphics program), you can press the printscn key to copy what is on your screen to your computer's clipboard.

Open up photoshop (or any other graphics program) and go the options in the file menu to create a new document (in photoshop it will automatically be the size of what you just copied to the clipboard, so I just accept whatever sizes it has preselected) and then do a paste. This should result in the screen capture showing up in the document.

You can then edit it and then save the document as jpg/gif/png etc.
