But you have to look at it from Clark's point of view. He has no idea what Lex has been going through, but he does know that Lex broke promises to him a lot when he was a kid. He knew that he slept with Bruce and left him alone when the Kents died and concentrated on Bruce. Clark felt betrayed by Lex, but he was ready to forgive him every time Lex had time for him.
