I can dick around like no bodies business, me. I came home on fire to write, and so far, I've read my flist--you clever things, you--and read fic. (no, it gets worse--my own stuff! I know it! It's kind of like staring at yourself in a mirror and telling yourself you're cute...wait...I *do* do that. How embarrassing!)

Last night I worked on Boys Of Summer.I added two scenes--a very brief one with Lionel, and I'm working on an assex scene with Lex and Clark. You know--that thing is fun to read. Yes, yes, I'm tootling my own horn but I heartily recommend it. It's great fun, and chock full of angst, and a little humor, and a little sex...and a little non-con and drug use and murder, but hey! It's also got Clex and Clitney and Whex--a little something for everyone! *beams* and I can self pimp like a motherfucker!

Lessee, right now,. I'm going to load up on coffee and Altiods, and clean up the Rip bitlet and post that, and thank you one million times, rhiannonhero, you make me blush! And get all giddy...*GRIN*

Gosh. I'm in a good mood. Sure, why not--it's the opposite side of Hormonal Storm.

LOL!!! Sometimes I cringe (all the real old stuff is just unreadable--oy!) and sometimes I'm amazed at how much a particualr scene doesn't suck. :)

Haha, sometimes it's like, "Damn, that was freakin' awesome. I rule!" The other night it was, "I read that a dozen times, why didn't I realize I left a word out of the sentence?!"

Comes with the territory. But, if other people like it, how bad can it be?

Yes, freakin' yes! I can't believe how often I do that--all the damn time, really! Three boo-boos I spotted in this recent post and after I checked it a bazillion times!!
Two I didn't notice until other people quoted the sentences in comments.

It's so easy to miss stuff when you know what it should say! It helps to have either another eye or time (which is *not* an option with a WiP!). If you ever want a second person, I can read something over for you if you'd like.

Dude, don't ever be afraid to ask! There are certain things in this world I make time for, and helping out friends is one of them (besides, it means I get to read the stories first!). Send over anything you want, whenever, it may just take a day or two depending on my schedule (just don't send anything between Aug 29 and Sept 3, because that's moving day and transition day and I don't even know where *I'm* gonna be in there, let alone have time for much of anything other than packing). :)
