I have this lurking suspicion that Clark really shouldn't have left Hartnett alive, and that he really should have tried a bit harder to get more information (like the identity of 'the Patron'), but at least he managed to get something out of the man. Now, if he can just find Lex without becoming a prisoner himself...!
