I was just over at sv_fanfic reading tragicllyhip's update to Prep. What a lovely surprise that was. I've been thinking about that story a lot lately, and missing Excelsior fic all together. It's been a damn good week for reading, yay!

And now, I really should get Lex to drag Clark's body out of Martha's root cellar and bury the poor thing. tsk.

wow, really??? Nah--I couldn't do something like that to Martha, never! Or do something like that to Clark. I don't mind torturing him just a little, but that sounds kind of ewwie.

it was ewwie. i can put up with some TC (or TL, or whatever you call lex getting put through the wringer), but there has to be a payoff. even the ambiguous ending of The Dog was happy enough for me, because they were finding a way forward, however compromised by their lionel-induced scars.
