just for fun!

Is there any story I've written that you've wondered, "Boy howdy, I wonder what came next? What happened to old so-so? Did that boy ever come back home? Did Bruce finally have a nervous breakdown/threesome/charge Lex?" Pick a story, a character, and maybe (you know how slow I am) I'll write a little bit about it. Or give me an idea what you want, and I'll try to do it. I'm not promising anything because I owe a few folks stories but hey--just the idea is kind of fun isn't it? Isn't it? *koff*

And for those of you who care, I am working on a Ripley ficlet, but it features Irving who can't get pregnant just so you know...*laughs 'cause only here does that sentence makes sense*

'Brothers and Heroes' -- what happened to my Bruce? That was the fic that killed me with its ending. Such an incredibly, just sad ending. . . for everyone (that's the one that made me put Bruce in CFMWH, you know).

Did Lex and Clark carry their dysfunctional relationship to the end? Was Bruce forever on the outside of everything? *whimpers*

oh that's so sad, and the one that really just ended the way it had to. The thing about that everyone was so mercilessly fucked up, but Clark was the worst out of the bunch. I thought Lex fared pretty well, all in all.

Did Lex and Clark carry their dysfunctional relationship to the end

I always thought it was *very* obvious that Lex and Clark were in or headed to a D/s sort of relationship.

Clark is beginning to control every aspect of Lex's life--what to wear, what to eat and how...Lex is happy to let it go after years and years of keeping control of himself. It's fine--it makes Clark happy, it makes him happy most of the time. It's a relief.

Clark needs to have control--for most of his life he had none, no real measure of what was right beside what Bruce fed him and it was twisted and hot and cold and confusing...and now, it's not. Lex is the prefect person for him. Lex lets him be Robin in a sane and safe way. Lex lets him do anything.

Bruce is the outsider, and he's glad to be the outsider. There's nothing he needs, nothing he wants but to bring justice. All there is, is the mission. Robin keeps him on the right side of that, and he's grateful--most of the time.

There are cameras at the farmhouse, cameras in the space station, in the cave, in the penthouse...everywhere, and no one knows but Robin. It's the rest of what Bruce needs. It's all he shares anymore with Robin--with Clark. Does Lex know? Sometimes, Bruce hopes he does, but he never asks.

There are never any family holidays.

*whimperwhimperwhimper* Oh, geez. Well *sigh* I did ask.

You slay me, roxy. No one does the angst and pain better than you. But, you make up for it with the kink and the occasional happy, so it's all good.

*whimper*

*HUGS*

Yeah, gosh, that was a sad story all the way around. But thank god for stuff like Krypton Boy! *g* Keeps us from crawling the walls.
Mind you...there are others among us who seem very capable of ripping on the old heart strings. I mention no names, I simply look pointedly in your general direction....

Me? Really? Well, *shuffles feet* Aw, shucks, roxy. *blushes* I'm so mean to Lin. Poor boy. *E-vol smirk firmly attached*

That's so sad, but understandable.

oh, roxy. ow, ow. but that works for me, in an almost poetic way.
