loved the transition in the chapter from awkwardness (and yeah, totally visualizing the scene in the kitchen as I read), to intense emotion to angsty portents, to hot man-on-man action. yet, even with the hotness, there was an underlying vulnerability and sweetness to their coupling that really fitted in perfectly with the overall tone of the chapter (and story). lovely, chapter.
