I don't write (RPS or otherwise) but I want to throw my two cents in about the subject. If you're story is mostly J2 please don't have Tom be mean/evil or dumb. Almost every J2-centric fic that I've read casts him either as a villain or as a total lunk head. And I don't think either one is correct or fair. And I would think the same thing even if I wasn't a total Tom girl.
