You know what's so cool about Supernatural? Besides hot guys? My niece and I are writing in the same fandom! How cool is that?

Also, I have an important question--deep thinky stuff, y'know--Jensen Ackles. Nose job, yes or no?

Unless Jensen got it when he was really young, I don't think so. His nose looks the same when he was Eric Brady as it does now (I just looked up pictures! lol). I just think he has a really pretty nose.

Yeah, I guess it is his nose...I have no idea why I'm obsessed with the idea. And I totally agree with you about the nose, it's a very sexy nose. :)

Jensen nose job: yes.

I've looked and looked at older and newer pictures, and there is something definitely slightly more refined about his nose. The tip of it was re-shaped, and surgeon and patient brilliantly opted to leave the little crookedness in so that it doesn't LOOK like a nose job.

I'm almost sure of it. There's a weird, "Is that really Jensen?" feeling you get looking at his late-teens pictures.

Ah-HA! you see it too! Just when I was about to give up! Looking at his younger pics, you could say he just grew into his nose, but I'm thinking there was a little sculpting done, just as you say. Or we're both nuts. *shrug*

Well, assuming we're not nuts and that our visual instincts are good, then it was a hell of a great piece of cosmetic surgery.

owzers, who has one of the keenest eyes for detail that I know (because she works in graphics all day long), is undecided on the point.

But in my experience, tips of noses don't get smaller as we "grow into our faces."

Also, ears. I think he might have had a slight imperfection of ear-sticky-outieness corrected too.

I'm saying no. Guys aren't pressured into that kind of stuff like girls are, and he was pretty much perfect from birth, it seems.

Jensen is such a beautiful man that his physical "imperfections" sort of unfold subtly. It was a while before I noticed the bowed legs. Longer till I saw the crooked nose. And ages before I noticed the wonky eye--in fact, I can only see that in head-on still photos. I think he very, very judiciously selected a couple of things to "repair". And cup-handle ears was one of 'em.

Wow, I didn't even know this was a debate. Huh. Although, in all honesty, I couldn't care less if he's had cosmetic surgery. If the guy's happy with himself, then what the hell! Have at it, Ackles!

And maybe that's not what I should be saying, but I'm kinda pissy at the moment, so please excuse me, babe. :) Plus, like emeraldsedai was saying, if he did get the nose tweaked and/or the ears, then that is a job worthy of praise. Let me have that doc's name and phone number, and we'll see if I can't get rid of the goddamned chicken pox mark to the left of my mouth. :( Kids are cruel. Jensen is gorgeous. You are cool. Hee!

no, no, no debate, just me wondering out loud. Not really caring because he's beautiful no matter what, but if he did get work, it's incredibly good work. If I had the monies, omg, what I wouldn't have done--there'd be a pile of leftover me by the time I was finished.

I really know zip about plastic surgery, but I've always thought his nose was a little crooked. Which would lean toward it not being done?

If he had anything done, he was smarter than 95% of the people who do such things--the small crook is unchanged. I think it's unlikely (though not impossible!) that he would have had a little fix and not corrected the crook...

And on the note of Jensen's face: I think he did have work done, just a little. Hell, he got into the biz kinda early and clearly took a serious shot at making it a career.

I? I would consider the eye-fixing surgery, except my astigmatism is the wrong kind for that, so i can't actually get it.

He would be smart not to have it done, because than it looks natural. But then again, I don't think they could shave the bridge without straightening the crook...or can that be done? Hmmmm. And by hmmm, I mean I kinda don't care anymore. He's the sun and the moon, and that's all that's important.

See? It isn't something you notice right off. It's just a minor "imperfection" that, in the field of general perfection that is Jensen, finally grabs the attention.

Look for full-face pictures of him (which are not that common) and you'll see that his left eye is a little smaller and a little bit noseward-looking.

in candid shots his nose look similar,enough but is professional shots it looks like they did a bit of adjusting or the lighting, so after compare i was thinking no, that maybe the people overphotoshopped him in professional shots.

but then I saw another candid younger pic...where I was hmmm his nose does look slightly different, I toss it up in the air, he just a hottie. nose or not....

Agreed! Nose work or not, he's the hottness!! Maybe he just grew into it? *G*
