The Sun, It Burns...

I just watched the tail-end of Annie, as in Little Orphan. Wow, I once had to listen to this movie every day, all day long...well, maybe I exaggerate, but not by much. BG had a thing for this flick that was truly frightening. On the up side of it, we all came to know that one was never fully dressed without a smile. And rich people were allowed to buy and own other people. I think. Oh and don't get in a car with Carol Burnett and Tim Curry.

It's a hard knock life. :)

All very good lessons dontcha know. ::grin::

At least it wasn't Carmen. My little sis was obsessed with an opera. And my older one with Sound of Music. I feel sorry for my poor parents. ::grin:: At least I didn't get a film thing. They had a break between the singing Swiss and the singing Gypsies. I shudder to think what the niece will fixate upon. It's more dangerous these days with purple dinosaurs and tiny explorers!

Umm... would be surprise/disappointed to find out I never watched Annie? *grins*

I don't remember ever being fixated on one specific movie/show when I was younger, but two of my nephews caused me to have great hatred for 101 Dalmations and The Great Mouse Detective! :P There are years between the two, but when they were both younger, they each had a favorite movie they just HAD to watch. Grrrrr!!! :P I was so siding with Cruela De Ville about the stupid dogs. lol

That's about like me with The Princess Bride. Man, I musta watched that movie every day, like, two or three times! My mother, to this day, refuses to watch it, even on cable, cos she's so sick of it. :) Hee! ROUS's!!

My favourite song was "We got Annie" with Ann Reinking dancing all over the house!

That was the first play I saw on Broadway, and the movie just couldn't compare, although I remember loving Carol Burnett and Tim Curry.

That friggin' movie. If I could, I'd punt that red-headed noxiously spirited little runt to the moon.

However, I will take a little Christopher-Plummer-as-authoritative-singing-man aaaaany day of the week, or every day of the week. Or, my childhood obsession, Cary-Elwes-as-poor-but-perfect-farmboy. Heck yah.

I had such better taste than BG.
