Soooooo...

Spoilery squee under the cut!
...Dean's a tool, hunh? Heee!

Okay, I was the only one in the whole fandom who didn't know that Dean was the sword--Michael's vessel. Sure, I heard the idea tossed around but I didn't really think that was the case but wow. And Castiel absolutely kicked ass!

And GOD I'M SO EMBARRASSED ABOUT WRITING FANFICTION but in that way that I don't plan to stop. :)

Hahaha fuck you Kripke, I love you like crazy!!

I've got a theory (no spoilers)

Or, technically, spoilers for last season. Castiel could take Jimmy's daughter as his vessel, right? Am I the only one who sees Sam trying to make a redemption play and offering to be Michael's vessel instead of Dean? If the capacity runs in families, it's not total crazy talk, right?

I wonder if Sam would try to offer himself instead...last season he definitely would have and considered himself the superior choice. I'm thinking maybe this season he'd just try to talk Dean out of it. 'Course, you can never go wrong figuring a Winchester is gonna do the stupid self-sacrificing thing. :)

He *is* the only member of the family who has appeared on screen to have never *successfully* sacrificed himself for a relative. :)
