oh my aching eyes.
I'm seriously thinking of dropping my membership in supernatural spoilers because it's pissing me off and that's only happened once before, with a Psych comm I dropped because it was stupid and bigoted. It takes a lot to get on my last nerve, but I'm sick and tired of folks chipping away at my enjoyment of my show. As far as I'm concerned, the show has only gotten better every season. Smarter, more exciting, deeper--and I'm a little tired of folks whining that it's not the Dean and Sammy show anymore, or that one or the other sucks, or that Castiel is killing the show--geezus. I'm done.
Look here, every damn thing they've done, every character they've added has only made the show that much more interesting. Even StupidVersionRuby was interesting in terms of the story. (hey SpN, Stop casting with your pants, would ya?) It's possible I'd watch it even if Sam and Dean became supporting characters--if they came up with a strong enough replacement and storyline. Because I'm probably the only person on the planet who really liked Dogget. ;)
So, enough with "they don't give blahblahblah enough screeeeen time, or blahblahblah is just a waterboy this season" or what the fuck ever. Suck it up, ya whiny babies. I say this sincerely from the heart and with love. From one who's been in the trenches. You know what I mean.

Supernatural rocks and this season is even better than the last and I LOVED last season. Tonight's episode was just amazing and I will have to watch a few more times because there was so much depth to all the conversations.

It is what it is, dudes. And it's so much better than other things. I don't care if people want to whine (I'm pretty good at that part), but you don't have to try to make other people unhappy.

I agree! I've never been as keen on the MOTW aspect of season 1 as the rest of fandom, it was season 2 that first really got me into the show. And, after everything I heard about season 3, I was amazed at how much I actually enjoyed it. And then season 4 was the best yet.
They've only said about a hundred times that this season will see Sam and Dean work on their relationship, but still there's whining because of what two episodes that pair Dean and Castiel on a short-term basis. Good grief I'm not the biggest fan of Castiel becoming the third regular in the impala either, but that's blatantly not one they're doing so relax please!!

Btw, what is it with us - I come into a fandom and you start fading out? First SV and now SpN, I'm going to get a complex or something.

That's one of the 2 reasons I don't read SPN spoilers at all. Including casting spoilers: there's too damn much whining going on.

Hmm, interesting. I don't know how that would go, but I would certainly watch if the boys were part of an ensemble. Plus, poor J&J would get more sleep!

I'm so glad you share this opinion--the show has gotten tighter, funnier, and the characters they introduce are very interesting! And Castiel has really become one of my favs! :)
