because I don't have an icon full of tears....

IBS is the devil. I can never go back to work again. Oy. I had to embarrass the heck out of myself today and run out the building because I don't know about anyone else, but home is the only place I can be when things are, shall we say, blowing up. Fortunately I don't live too far from work. Hey! Isn't it great we can share like this? Yeah, it is.

soooo...I guess maybe I should go back to my doctor and get some paperwork on this. I've had to bust out of the job almost every Friday the last two months. I know it looks suspicious. If I was a young thing, they'd probably have booted me already. Lord, I'm so tired of looking like an ass. So to speak.

*sigh* I just needed to vent a bit and share my pain about my disobedient bowels.

Still friends?

Always and forever!

Of course still friends! *HHHHUUUUGGGSSS* If you can't share your embarrassing work related stories to your online friends, who can you share them with?

Since we're sharing our embarrassing personal stories about work. I almost started bawling in the middle of the office and had no chocolate in sight. I considered using company resources to book a flight to visit my ex bf to either ravage him or beat the crap out of him. Or some interesting, hinky combo of the two (that would surprise and freak out my co workers if they knew but wouldn't faze anyone that knows me here).

Fridays are exciting!

(And yes that was my pathetic attempt at trying to make you laugh or at least smile)

I don't quite have IBS, but I get symptomatic quite a bit. I have to call the office and ask for someone to watch my class, wait for them, sometimes in a lot of pain that I have to keep from the kids until they get there, and then hobble to the bathroom, past a bunch of classes, and then return, many times feeling worse than I did.

So, I feel your pain. *hug*

Or some interesting, hinky combo of the two

Heeeeeee! *clings* It worked--you totally made me snorfle! :)

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
*HUGGLES* Thank you for helping me get past the embarrassment! Oy!

Oh, I tagged you for a meme but I have to get my beloved to work the scanner for me because it *hates* me.(the scanner, not the meme)...and when it works, all this rambly bit will become clear, yes. *GG*

[identity profile] twinsarein.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 05:07 am (UTC)(link)
Cool, I haven't done a meme in a while. I'll look forward to seeing what you've tagged me to do.

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 05:07 am (UTC)(link)
*HUG*

I'm pretty thankful that I can leave, more or less, when I want--though I'm sure they're totaling up the absences and some day, I'll lose the best job a lazy person could ever have. *sad*

When I was substitute and summer school teaching, I usually skipped lunch because that seemed to set off my IBS. When working in an office, it was no big deal because I could go to the restroom any time I needed.

[identity profile] cha.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
ooh I had that happen when I was on holiday once... not fun...

STILL adore you :)

[identity profile] rosy5000.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 06:16 am (UTC)(link)
Of course we're still friends! You're too adorable to let go.

*hugs... just not too tightly* lol

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 06:20 am (UTC)(link)
It's awful--it's like being betrayed! And when you're out in public, it's even worse. God. I'm going to have to be a total bitch on Monday to make up for it. :(

So full mit the lubb for you, mien little hunnnybunchkins.
(also, being under the weather makes me ridiculously, embarrassingly affectionate)

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
*clings*

Thank you, lovey! I'll alwys be the Gibbs to your Tony...you know, in that platonic way they are on the show...*G* with maybe a little less head-whacking. ;)

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 06:25 am (UTC)(link)
I usually don't eat at all before I go to work, or just have oatmeal which doesn't seem to set me off but this morning I was stupid. I won;t even tell you what I had for breakfast--*blushblush*

Working in a store means these long sprints from the back of the store to the front where the restrooms are, oy. Too much to handle. And playing cashier is a huge hell no.

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
*CLING*

Ya'll are so great, I feel so much better! Some things are too embarrassing *not* to share, y'know?

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 06:28 am (UTC)(link)
*FALLS DOWN LAUGHING*

I swear, I just love every little bit of you! *hughug*

[identity profile] nataliadarimini.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 06:28 am (UTC)(link)
Still friends.

Even if this does shift you over into the other side of the Venn diagram, the side where people tell me about their digestive tracts. That side is populated by my grandparents, my eighty-three-year-old great-aunt, and my cousin David when he's trying to squick me.

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 06:32 am (UTC)(link)
*laughs like a loon*

I KNOW!!!! I'M OLD!!! My bowels have become a part of conversation! *covers face to weep*

And after I swore solemnly not to ever discuss these things in public. But seriously, let me tell you how fiber affects me....

[identity profile] nataliadarimini.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 06:37 am (UTC)(link)
There, there. Tell me all about fiber.

[identity profile] myownghost.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 07:30 am (UTC)(link)
that blows. if you know what i mean. for a while there, i thought i had IBS. having desperately to find a ladies' room when one is out in public is a humiliation not easily borne. i hope the doctor gets you whatever paperwork you need!

[identity profile] ferdalump.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 07:35 am (UTC)(link)

I really do have a Bale picture for every occassion. :p

**gentle hugs to you**

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 07:53 am (UTC)(link)
*gigglegigglegiggle*

OMG, you really do!

*hughuhghug*
You're too much, Ferd! Love you!

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2009-10-17 07:55 am (UTC)(link)
*siiiiiigh*

It is totally humiliating--and an enormous pain to have to plan out every darn thing around the possibility of a problem.
