I give myself two weeks to turn this appalling loogy of words into a story before I'm pulling out of the SpN Big Bang. At this point, I hate everyone in the damn thing. It's holding up my entire brain.

On the good side, I'm posting some old stuff at DW because I like having my stuff flung far and wide, in case something happens and I lose all my stuff here. I wanted to post a x-over ficlet I wrote featuring a character from Anita Blake's world and hokey-smokes, it was *terrible*!! But such an interesting idea that I'm really wanting to rewrite and expand it. And I would but for this anvil hanging over my head....

What about you, my friends? Who is you BB going--SpN and SV? A lot of folks seem to be complaining that their muses have taken a powder. It's like there's something in the air...*sniff*. Ah, the scent of fail.

HA! I'm so on edge I've started bitching to Mr. R. who's scarily kind about the whole thing, considering that me writing slash is to him the equivalent of me drawing my nails down a chalkboard.

I echo everyone else's sympathy. I've decided not to sign up for this year's BB in SV. I have ideas, but I want to write them at my own pace. I've had my fill of challenges for now, as much as I like the closer connection that comes in being a part of something like that.

I think you're brilliant for giving yourself a two week limit. You can say honestly that you gave it a shot and tried. Who knows, you might get a sudden brainstorm and write 10K in three days.

If you need another pair of eyes, I'd be glad to do what I can. I enjoy wincest, and have no trouble with underage stuff.

I think you should revamp (hee, pun not originally intended) your Anita story. That's a universe that would be a slasher's paradise - especially the later books with the plethora of gorgeous men. I've signed up to do one for someone - just a filthy, dirty porny bit with Jean_Claude and Asher.

Yeah, I poked at it a bit tonight--I'm going to try writing the end first. That worked pretty good for me on a couple of Clex stories I did. Mostly my problem is Dean wants to be a goody two shoes in this story. :) Plus, I hadn't originally wanted a supernatural element in the story and now I want just a bit in there, but see, even telling you this helps me firm up what I want!

As for that Anita Blake thing, the only character of hers I like now is Edward, and that's who's in the fic. Revamp--heeeee!
