Ah, youth!

I'm watching Faith on TNT. Wow, that episode was *beautiful* to watch. The look and the music meshed. The show was definitely filmed with an eye to being atmospheric back then--a real slasher movie look. When it worked, it was amazing--when it didn't, it was just kind of murky and stuff.

Sidenote--Jared was a *baby* at the beginning!

I just watched the last 20 minutes of that! Baby Jared is right!! (But still sooo cute!) I like that whole washed out light look. And Julie Benz is so quiet and graceful there - what a far cry from fierce and conniving Darla!

Julie Benz was really beautiful in that ep--like, earthy and ethereal at the same time. *happy sigh* And yeah, she was a cast iron bitch in Angel, lol! I really grew to like her as Darla.

You are a goddess, you beautiful East-coaster you! I've been wanting to rewatch Faith for weeks (because I want to write S1 reunion sex set during that ep), but I loaned my DVDs to a friend months ago and haven't gotten them back. :(

Now that I know it's airing, I can watch it. \o/

I love S1 baby Jared. He's sooooo freaking adorable. It's funny though, the first time I watched S1, I thought Jared was ridiculous looking and Jensen was a useless pretty boy. Oh, how things change.

I know! I didn't watch the first whole season because I couldn't stand the way they looked, lol! Now I think they're both finest kind! *GGG* I'm shallow, I admit it.

Right? Show's always good in my book but everyone in a while it hits every note spot on and becomes *amazing*!!!

Yeah I've been pretty harsh on the writing from season 1 admittedly lol, but rewatching it recently made me really nostalgic for how beautifully they used to direct the scenery and everything, and the music they used when they were on the road
