Hmmm...

Tell me, Magnificent Flist,

Do I want to read an SpN AU based on the Hunger Games? It sounds like it has the potential to hurt and you know I'm a delicate flower. I was startled to see it listed in the BBs posting today, I believe. I shouldn't automatically write it off, I suppose, considering that I've written fic based on books before. And have read many SV stories based on books and movies and loved them. I guess it's that particular set of books. I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled and see what folks recommend.

Hmm. Who's who, I wonder. I'll certainly give it a chance when I'm in the SpN mindset again. You know I love both pieces of fiction, so fusing them could potentially hit my sweet spot. It'll have to wait a bit, though, as currently I'm gobbling up fics from another fandom, but I always come back around to the pretty CW boys. Who can resist those handsome mugs?

Hrrmmmmmmmmm.
I guess if one of the warnings is 'major character death' that'd be a huge 'no' for me. I dunno. It would depend on the writing. If i read the first page and it was starting to irritate me by being too much like the book, (as in, actually quoting dialogue and such), then i'd quit.

I recently read the books and was seeing SPN everywhere in it, so that story sounds pretty good! (But then I see SPN everywhere. *g*)

Yeah, I can see where someone like the Winchesters could really beat the hell out of the Hunger Games.
