Thanks a million for all your good thoughts! The tear turned out to be a bit larger than they thought but the surgeon was pleased with the outcome. Poor Mr. R is just starting to really wake up. :)

We took the wrapping off today--EWWWWWWWWW!!!! Poor Mr. R, he has Frankenstein shoulder. Mind you, I was all clinical and matter-of-fact on the outside. None was the wiser. ;)

Oh lord, nurse roxy!! I'm like the world's worst caregiver and so far, I've managed to clock him in the boo-boo shoulder about three times today...thank goodness he has a sense of humor and loves me, lol!
