Loved SPN tonight so fucking much! Maybe it's just me, but this felt the way Show is supposed to be: The boys working with each other and watching each others backs and Dean loving Sam again (tbh, for a few years I've been really doubtful about that, please don't stab me in the face). Did you catch the previews, btw? James (I think... names!) sounds REALLY familiar, but I can't place him. You got a clue by chance? It's driving me NUTS trying to remember who he is.
Oh, I never doubted that Dean loved Sam, he just didn't trust him. You can love someone and not like them very much--I love it when it's plain that Dean likes Sam as well as loves him. That's what I missed most, the friendship that they had, as well as the sibling behavior. They better not take my Batcave way from me. It makes Dean so happy, and part of that is because he thinks that this is something that will make *Sam* happy. :)
Ayuh, I know that very well about loving but not liking someone. I just... yeah... I was feeling pretty sadfaced about the State of the Winchesters there for a few years. This though... *twirls* They were just so them again and man, I loved every minute of it. Also, that sandwich Dean made has made me want a pretzel roll so bad I can hardly stand it. They're hard to find down here, but be damned if I'm not hooked. /random
Oh and Kevin! How awesome and heartbreaking is he?? I see an episode with him in it and I am at once :D and D: about that poor young man. Still. Show needs more Kevin. Lots more.
Shows air at the same time where I'm at, so I'm still dl-ing Southland (so I can watch it without commercials). I liked SpN tonight, though! Dean and his room was poignant, and I'm glad Sam "accidentally" called bullshit on his older brother's (latest) attempt at martyrdom. Poor Kevin.
Poor Kevin indeed! That poor shit, just using himself up. I watched him and thought this kid is gonna have a stroke and then, he did mention possibly having a small stroke--oh snap! (BG is bring snap back, i do it for her ;) )

Ha, yes! It was adorable--and the glasses!! Why, it's like they were skimming J2 fanfic, lol! Dean reminded me of James Dean with those thick rimmed glasses. :)
This ep is my new fave SPN ep! I'm still sad about Dean's need to throw himself into the line of fire because that's all he thinks he's good for, but at least now he has Sammy back in a really fundamental way. I love the fact that they are moving past all the BS from their past and moving back into being the brothers we fell in love with, before they universe ripped them away from each other, repeatedly.
It just keeps getting better and better. I am giddy from all of the brotherlyness. Boy, when Jeremy Carver said they were taking th show back to what it originally was, he wasn't kidding.
I have't seen the new Southland yet, but i'm really excited for it. I think it's the most under rated show currently on TV. I'm a little dubious about the addition of Chad Michael Murray, but I'll admit that Lucy Liu pleasantly surprised me last season, so I'll wait to judge.
Chad Murray...it was startling to see him on my screen. We'll see. Like you said, I didn't care for Lucy Liu at all but by the time her run ended I was a total convert. I like high profile characters with a limited run. I think it's going to be the same deal for CMM. Weird...I only know him from fanfic, lol! I wonder if he knows what an active life he has with Jared in J2 fandom? *laughs*
