Thanks for reminding us, Rox. Happy National Coming Out Week. Tomorrow morning at the weekly student chapel at Vanderbilt Divinity School, where I'm earning my Master's of Divinity degree, the altar will be sporting the rainbow and ablaze with candles. I know this for a fact, because I was asked to prepare the table (they love to include the House Witch, Goddess bless 'em). The service will be conducted by Gable, the GLBT Divinity Student's group, nearly all of whom are preparing for ministry. We're winning, darlin'. I can see it from here.

Wonderful. And I can tell this is a hormone storm week because the thought of the alter is bringing tears to my eyes. Thank you, It'd be nice to think it could happen in my lifetime.

It's gonna happen in my lifetime, and I'm not young. Lots of my fellow students are going through ministry training without knowing whether the'll be allowed in by their denominations. I'm luckier; my denomination had its first gay minister before Stonewall.
