I'm behind on my Eight Days reading and my post, because today is my Beloved's birthday! We went to dinner--a very good dinner--and I gave him a gift card to the movies and a new bike water bottle. *G* Tomorrow is our anniversary and we're going to the movies! Wooo! Sadly, we won't be making out in the back row. For whatever reason, somewhere in the last twenty years they redesigned theater seats to be really painful--they play jip with my back, by cracky. Plus no matter how I yell for them, the damn ushers won't come and light our way with those clever little flash-lights, why, I remember....*shnooooooore*


Thirty-four years! 34 years with the same person! Over three decades with one man. I can hardly believe it's been that long. Weird, it really, truly doesn't feel that long. I probably say that every year but I swear it's true. And you know how it all works? Like this!

Oh thank you!! The dress was made for me by my second mom--it was just a plain white sheath style with a lace over-jacket...my real mom had a fit because she wanted *more* lace, *more* poof. She calmed down once she saw me in it, LOL! Good times, weddings, good times! :D
