Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Not bad! My heart went skippity when Phil Coulson walked on screen, even though I knew, of course. Bits of humor, a little heavy handed on the hero biz but I'm watching the next ep.

I'm planning to keep watching, but I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be.

Perhaps I will give it a try. Have you watched Sleepy Hollow?

Yeah, i watched, i was...iffy. J. August was awesome, of course, i was less than impressed with Skye and whatsis, secret agent guy. Good to see Coulson even if he was a little off, YAY for Agent Hill, the Fitz-Simmons team is fun and nobody puts Ming-na in a corner.

So - not 100 percent, but could get better. :)

I liked it. The humor was actually funny (IMO). It might have been a little heavy handed in places but I liked it and I really liked that I could watch it with my girls.
It was really great to see Phil again :DD

I'm adopting [livejournal.com profile] norwich36's term of "Pilot-itis" for this one. It was lacking because of it, but good enough to bring me back for the next episode. Some characters were immediately likeable while others were flat out forgettable. And was it just me, or was some of the dialog mumbled and impossible to understand?

I enjoyed it too, and J. August was fun to watch as always. With Coulson himself, I think we're all so used to seeing small bits of him that it's jarring to see him for more than a few minutes out of 43, or at least that's what I think with regards to how I feel. Plenty of room for the show to improve, and downplay the hero stuff more. 'Cause yeah, we get it.

I'm undecided on the show. I'm going to have to watch the pilot again to decide.

I'm kind of getting depressed over what I'm seeing on Tumblr so I don't know if I'll keep watching even if I do end up getting enthused over it.

Count me as unimpressed but pilots are usually hit-or-miss. I'll give it awhile before I decide to stick with it or drop it. Phil's the only reason I tuned in, so hopefully he'll be involved in a lot of the episodes and not just luring us in and then disappearing.

Lola was awesome! :)

So what is it that Phil "must never know"?

P.S. I did watch the first episode of Sleepy Hollow. I like the Revolutionary tie-ins but am not a fan of horror, so I'm dropping it. How many times can you watch someone get decapitated? *rolls eyes*

Yeah, I was pleased too. I had moderated my expectations based on early reviews, and I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the entire ep. I'm looking forward to the whole season! In Joss I trust, pretty much.
