I always see the schedule posted and think 'I can't do this, I have no ideas for stories'. Then I spend the next few days thinking about it and usually come up with something. Then I spend all of January writing the story (because I refuse to sign up unless I'm nearly finished the damn thing.
This year though, I really don't have any ideas, so. Boo.
I know! right now my brain is billiard ball smooth of ideas. Maybe I'll take a look at my huge folder of unposted WIPs. Though, I guess if I knew what to do with them they wouldn't be unposted WIPs....
Then I spend all of January writing the story (because I refuse to sign up unless I'm nearly finished the damn thing.
That's got to be the smartest way to do it. So unlike my last-hour screaming and typing.
I'll be playing. Will hopefully complete the BB I started for last year's challenge and couldn't finish in time. At over 60,000 words already, at least I don't have to worry about meeting the minimum word count. :-)
But it's still a big unruly mess that will take a lot of editing and rewriting to get into shape to offer to one of the amazing artists.
