It's so great when they grow up and get jobs and treat you to lunch. Yes. Yes it is. You know what's even better? The first time you go their house and accidentally spill something in their fridge and you close the refrigerator door without telling them you did it :D

*FALLS DOWN LAUGHING* I can not *wait* to do that!! :D Oh--oh! And I'm gonna use the last bit of toilet paper and just walk away without replacing it. *happysigh*
When I first looked at the picture, I thought Mr. R was wearing a giant green and white hat. Haahaaha. I'm such a dork.
I was wondering how she was doing after the cockroach nightmare. She looks like she made it through without permanent damage. Actually she looks lovely.
We thought the Starbucks logo behind his head looked like a halo! :D
The beautiful woman with Mr R is the Beloved Niece, who's like a daughter to us. She's not afraid of no steenkin' roaches, that one. In fact, I don't think much scares her, lol! The other daughter, Baby Girl, has the roach issue, but she seems to have come through it well, and in fact was able to kill a single roach on her own, with minimum screaming and fainting--though she was at work at the time...*G*
I am a stupid lucky gal, for sure--and I try not to take that stuff for granted!
*siiiiiiiiiiiigh* He does, but the Beloved Niece can only make it at the holidays now. But hey, let me not complain! She's happy, healthy, and doing something she loves.
Oh, you're welcome! I think it's great for us to share pics so we get some idea of who the people are we're talking to, lol! And right there go 2/3rds of the reason why I get up every morning, instead of locking myself in the bedroom endlessly watching SpN eps, hah!

Mr. R is just that--he's our rock. And my Beloved Niece, who thinks he's the sun and the moon. :)

Don't tell her I said that, lol!! My Niece's nickname for her is Baby Howler Monkey and there's a darn good reason for it. :D
