say what, Show?

Okay. Hmmm. I'm in, I'm just wondering where you're taking me. Because it looks like we've been here before, but we really haven't. I think this is the first time that we've had this said aloud. Hunh! Very interesting. When you guys watch it, let me know what you think!

It was my favorite episode of the season, despite Garth. I like Sam saying those things, even though they seem cruel, because they needed to be said. And I like Jared being all manly and teary-eyed when saying them. Because: shallow. :)

I agree one billion percent about Sam saying those things. It's always been in the other court but I've always felt, no matter what it looked like, Dean has been Sam's rock. I can't wait to see what happens if Dean *isn't*. Dean is so deep into beating himself up mode that it's kind of scary. Also, did this ep smell like spin-off set-up? :)

I think I'm one of the few that likes it when they are at odds, because some of the deepest emotional stuff comes out of it. Sam basically saying "we aren't brothers" is pretty traumatic for both of them, and I'm excited to see that play out. I want some tears. And hugs.

Dean is really dark this season.

I guess if it was a spin-off set-up the Garth fans will be happy?

Oh, I didn't mean the spin-off would involve Garth. I love Garth but I can't see him carrying a show! I meant that maybe the spin-off will incorporate this different take on monsters, that maybe they're not all totally evil, that they have families and concerns that revolve around more than snacking on folks' livers.

I really liked that Sam is once again reminding Dean that he is his own person, not some little kid to be looked after. It's so ingrained into Dean's psyche, he can't let Sam grow up and make his own mistakes/decisions. It was a great scene! I don't see the spin-off set up in this one, though. As much as I like Garth, I don't see him carrying a whole show.

PS - wasn't Preacher Dad in Scarecrow? He and his wife were the one's that were killed in the end?
