No spoilers, I'm still thinking. Reeling. It was really...disturbing. I'll have to rewatch for sure, I never really get it until the second or third time I watch the ep. In the mean time it was oddly upsetting, like, way out of proportion to what went on. At least thinking about it will distract me during my dental appointment, which I am looking forward to like one looks forward to a scourging.

eta: I loved the title card for this season, very nicely done, I thought.

Yeah, they played demon!Dean so subtle through most of the episode that the two REALLY dark moments he got, the cruelty to Anne Marie, and then that LAST SCENE :-S ... really stood out and were totally chilling and disturbing. :(

I don't think Dean actually doesn't care about Sam, though. I think we're meant to think that right now, but I don't think it's the case. I think he'd LIKE to not care about Sam, but he wrote "Sammy" on the note, and he threatened the dude's life if he hurt Sam, so... I think we'll see next episode that Dean cares a little more than he'd like to show. <3
