I was tagged by the lovely digitalwave and the lovely firesign10 for a writing meme: Ze Challange Grande is to pull seven lines from the seventh page of your WIP. Then you're supposed to tag seven other writers.

Here's a bit from my pet WIP. I work on it from time to time when I'm feeling desperate. :)

"Bastard. Get off of me—"

"Mike, leave him alone," Jen frowned. "He's not interested."

"Hey—me either, I was just kidding. Wait - are you—you're gay?" He fixed JT with a shocked look and then drew his eyes over Jen's arms around his neck. "Are you guys —"

Jen jumped back, a look of disgust on his face. "Hell no, don’t be stupid. You know I'm not - JT's not -"

JT looked Mike right in the eyes, said, "Yeah, I am. But Jen's just a friend, my best friend since grade school. That's all."

There was a rush of horrified babble - JT figured that this was it, the end of his high school career. He looked around; he was alone.
