2016 goal and some blabbing

My goal this year is to finish a story I started in 2010, post it as my BB--I think. I've liked this story very much, but for some reason I kept getting stalled on it, kind of like PE.

Writing-wise, this year I sucked, so much I'm not bothering with "what I wrote" and "lines and stuff". I don't even know, to tell you the truth.

Pleasing things: someone (or somebodies) is reading through my SV stories. Almost every day there's a kudos notice in my inbox. That's such a nice feeling! I'm very happy that there is interest in those stories--they were some of my most favorite, most satisfying writing. It makes me happy to think that there might be some interest in them years from now. It's been many years since I've written those boys but I still love them--or maybe I should say still love the idea I had of them. I think I spent most of my Smallville years writing Clark Kent out of character, sometimes outrageously so. It was a lot of fun! ;D

It's a really good feeling! If people knew how great it is to get a comment on an old story, I bet more folks would comment.

That's such a great, great goal. Nothing makes me feel better than finishing something that's been sitting on my conscious for years. I've got one or two I reaaaally hope to get done this year, as well. Best of luck to you and HEY, look at it this way. Bigbang sign ups haven't even opened yet and you've already got yours started. lol! That's a great, positive way of looking at it...excuse me while I threaten it within an inch of its little, obstinate life. If I finish it, that's one of three, no, four, I've wanted to finish and love to bits. Whhhhhhhhyyyyyyy is it so damn hard???

I'm going to convince myself that it *is* a great start, and not a story listing dangerously in the water. It's really a great idea, and it's a lovely combo of HS AU and grown boys non-actor AU--or would be if the darn thing would cooperate.

This is the year!

I *LOVE* getting kudos and comments on old fic. I never understand folks who won't respond to comments on an old story--how do you not care anymore about something you wrote or a fandom you used to be in? Why would you not want to cheer on a newbie?
