Without David Bowie, there never would have been a Miss Roxy Rose. I would have probably kept on walking by myself, being quiet me. But I got introduced to his music, which led to learning all about that other world next door, and what a different world it was. What a lot of fun it was. I grew a whole new me, who felt more like the real me--I was much more comfortable in my skin and so surprised how many people wanted to see the world like I did. The only other time I felt like that was falling into LJ and fanfic--that feeling like finding home. Rest in peace, sir--you changed the world.

I was looking at a pic of you on FB and suddenly I missed you so damn hard--like we spend massive amounts of time together, lol! My brain kept trying to tell me you were right around the corner, so go visit....
