Oh my god, perfect opening! Edith Piaf, No Regrets--love it!!

I think the reason I'm enjoying this season so much is because it's plain to see they like each other again. They trust each other again, and that's the way we like it. I hope there are no further conflicts between them--no, what I mean is that I hope they keep taking care to show how much the brothers care for and *like* each other, and love each other because they do, not because they have to. Every season has had wonderful moments, beautiful episodes, but this season has what much of the previous seasons have lacked, an ease between the brothers. I hope that Carver has finally realized that *this* is what we want. We know their relationship is completely codependent, but most of us don't care. Growth is fine, we don't want them outgrowing each other. Because once they mature, heal, and outgrow the need to be shoulder to shoulder twenty-four seven, what have we got? Supernatural, a story about two brothers who get along pretty good, and hunt monsters whenever it's convenient for them to get together. Naaaaah, not good enough for me!

I haven't seen Show yet tonight, but i love what you're saying here, and totally agree. The boys *in sympathy*, together, as *brothers*, not as adversaries, not barely tolerating each other...*in cahoots*. Fighting, sure, and annoying each other, and pushing and shoving and sniping and snarling, but, ultimately...*with each other*. Wanting to be brothers, and partners.

That's the best part of Show, and the genius of it.

I enjoyed it a lot - Delphine was a cool guest hero and I'm enjoying Misha's Lucifer.

The brothers are spot on right now and it looks like they have fun together next week!

I enjoyed Misha's Lucifer tonight very much--he really captured Lucifer's personality, and I was very much impressed.

Yes, exactly this. And, not keeping secrets from each other anymore - Dean telling Sam about his bond with Amara! Without being asked! Same calling Dean on his self-sacrificing. They are almost in a healthy relationship - probably about as healthy as they'll ever get. I hope they keep it up.

Loving this season! Looking forward to next week. Crowley back in a suit and the boys getting a chance to be boys (for whatever reason).
