I was going to post about how while it's nice that everyone is happy about s11, it kind of irritates me too, but I read that post and decided to delete it because I already complained about stuff in my last post and I thought, "roxy, do you want to gain a reputation as a crabby old bitch who only posts to complain about shit?" and I thought, again to myself, probably not. I would rather be known as the happy, carefree spirit that I am...is that laughing? Am I hearing laughing?

Hee, I'm curious so I'll bite. Why does it irritate you?

I've seen lots of people both venting about and defending the actors and the show of late, and you know.. of course you're allowed to post what you want on your journal.

Because I've been at this level of love all along, and I feel like folks are hopping back on the bandwagon, like it's okay to like Show again because it's "better now." Only I was probably uglier with it in my original post and I don't need to barf out that kind of negativity--I save that for PMs behind the scenes. ;D

I can understand that viewpoint, and it's great that you've felt that level of love all along <3 I've certainly had my issues with the show, but I try to keep most of that to emails and PMs myself. I'll always have a special place in my heart for the boys and this show no matter what happens.

I try to look at some people jumping back on the bandwagon as a positive thing. I've been reading lots of older fics lately, and it's been depressing seeing how much the fandom has shrank and how the squeeing has died down. So I'm all for people having a reason to come back and squee. The more, the merrier.

Me too, with the people getting excited, and in the long run, anything that hopefully leads to good, thoughtful fic, is a good thing. :)

We love you, Roxy! Go ahead and kevetch about s11. We can take it! And yep, getting old's a bitch, but at least it's not over, ha! (I was going to complain about my seasonal affect disorder, so see? You saved me! :)

I LOVE s11. And apparently so does everyone else, including folks that walked off loudly complaining about how Show sucked anymore, hasn't been a good season since 1,2,4,5, what the hell ever. It's that attitude people like me get--that, "I've been in the trenches, where were you?" kinda thing, lol! No big, just me being grrr.

Glad to be of service, after all, that's what we're here for--a soft shoulder and some porn. ;D

Wish I'd been with the show that long! I can only imagine how amazing it must have been to contemplate what the hell was happening when Dean went to Hell, or to try to figure out what was happening when Sam came back from Hell at the beginning of Season 6 -- for me, it's all a binge-watched blur! You long-timers are AWESOME!

HA! Yes. I'm rather more along the lines of being *very* shirty with people who moan and complain that 'this' season (which ever season it is) is just no good because Character A is in it/isn't in it, Storyline B is taking up too much time/not enough time, WHY CAN'T IT JUST BE ALL MotW ALL THE TIME!!!!

Girl, I just didn't want to get into it with folks, you know me--low-key and cowardly. But yeah, LJ is for venting! Like you say, we gotta get it out someplace and this is way better than opening a window and screaming at random strangers. At least us here are more likely to understand.

Yes? No? Maybe?

It's a two-word phrase. One is "unwatchable." The other is unfit for polite company.

Some has to do with personal issues, but the two eps I did force myself to watch were mediocre at best, and what I've seen in recaps/reaction posts hasn't impressed me enough to make me even keep the ones I've Tivoed. (And I have *never* deleted SPN eps before they were available via DVD or Netflix before.) I even demoted the season pass.

There's a reason my alter ego is burying her head in the sand of a comfy little S2 AU. :)

So, you're not enjoying current seasons, but you still are inspired by the characters? Or do you separate the characters from the show completely, and are writing original characters with their names? I ask because in some ways I think I wrote my last few Smallville fics like that. Though I wasn't as turned off to the show as you are with SpN, it was close until the last season or two, when it seemed to take a deep breath to sprint towards the finish.

I'm still quite in love with the Winchesters. It's just that part of the magic for me was that the show was telling a story, and it's not doing that anymore. I know it sounds kind of weird, but to me, it feels like they're writing according to the feedback on their Twitter and Tumblr feeds rather than telling the story as it needs to be told. I'm a storyteller. That bugs me.

Plus I have certain rage issues right now and the cats are tired of being thrown at the TV. :)

I'm hoping that someday I'll be able to go back and watch, but until then, it's probably best for all of us if I just pretend 10.3 was the series finale.

I've got older bits and pieces still in progress, in addition to the Reynoldses (I swear the OTW sequel will get finished) but the season 10 Impalaverse story is finished, and right now, I don't see me writing anything set later.

As for originals, I got those out the wazoo, I don't need any more. :) Granted, there may be a superficial physical resemblance between two of the swamp vamps and a couple of codependent brothers...but that's a coincidence until somebody proves otherwise. *looks innocent*

You mean you don't float around in a tie-dyed gauze dress, fairy wings, and a flower crown singing "la de da dee dee" all the time? *G*

Anways... you can complain here if you want to. It's your place and we love you no matter what.

Don't worry about other people's opinions honey. Everybody has their own reasons. As long as you have a strong sense of your own opinions and don't let yourself be swayed without good reason, it doesn't matter.*hugs*
