So, Felix, Dmitri-- fascinating people. They were really part of the plot to assassinate Rasputin, who was a very unpleasant and barely educated 'holy man', whose idea of holiness was pretty much on par with Luthor Cambell's -- but really, do you think I'm going to be spending a lot of time being all historically accurate? Are we worried about Rasputin? Hell no, ya'll could be watching the History Channnel for that! It's all about the nasty sex,yay.

Prince Felix Yussupov though, there was an interesting boy.

His big brother(my word) encouraged him to dress up in women's clothing because he was so pretty(so they say) and took him to parties as his date.Um-hmm...and introduced him to his friends.It's so very interesting, no? You could write a ton of stuff right there, my pretties.

Dmitri Romanov was Felix's closest friend, bosom buddy. Also said to be very good looking, also yes, bi-sexual. Tsk. Good Mother Russia.

Here's the amusing thing-- one source on Felix spun that he simply dressed as a woman to get attention, and he just tried to fool the officers he met with and he married and had children(or a child, not clear) so of Coooourse he wasn't say, *fucking* these men, noo, nooo....another source was happy to say oh, hell yeah, what are you stoopit? I may be paraphrasing a bit.

I really want to write a story about Felix and his brother ...hey! Why the hell not? Do I not have the corner on the RDPS? Am I not the inventor of such? I don't know, am I?

So, since these lovely fellows are not based on SV characters, mkitty_03 suggests I ask you who do you see playing these gentlemen?
Which actor is your Felix, or Dmitri? I'd love to know!

This is all extremely interesting! yes, write more about these people, just for me, please? The brothers sound veery interesting. I'm rereading "The Picture Of Dorian Gray" right now. Very interested in the idea of corrupting young innocent men. Can you suggest furthur reading material?

I'm not the right person to ask about young actors! don't make me tell you why(you can probably take a good guess!)

They don't have to be young actors-- in fact, I halfway had Rudolph Valentino in mind for Dmitri, even though he'd make a better Felix-- Robert Taylor? a lovely Dmitri also...
I can't help you in so far as reading material about corrupting young innocent men. I'm doing my bit at work,but I don't know if I'm corrupting the innocent so much as adding fuel to the fire! *wink*
And I'm definitely doing the RDPS, even though I think you'd handle it better than I could.

I googled Felix and Dimitri, and i can see Valentino ~ they don't have "modern" good looks ~ it's hard to visualize anyone contemporary, you have to picture their hair all combed back.

Ah, Cary Grant-- and Katherine Hepurn in Sylvia Scarlett! I loved that movie so very much...Hepurn looked so fabulous and sexy dressed as a man, and Cary starting to fall for him/her? Priceless! I miss those days of innocence. ;0)

After watching Lost tonight, I definately think Ian Somerhalder is perfect for Felix. He's so delicate and just lovely. I still need to think about Dmitri....hmmmmmm.....he would be older than Felix, right? Jude Law is a nice image.
