You know what's making me happy these days? Going about in my sockmuppet disguise and leaving long, rambly and occasionally almost insightful comments on the stuff I'm reading. It's so relaxing! I can say what I want, and not feel weird. Er than normal. :) It makes commenting more fun, when you don't feel you have to restrict yourself to "I liked this very much".

It's very liberating, this big fake mustache LJ. Not that all my friends at this point don't know it's me. That's the problem of being a technoboob. "Oy, you mean it won't just pick up that I meant me and not DeadAstro?" Head smack! Log out, and then log in, dork!

I tell you, it's so much fun that I want to make another muppet account, but I've been forbidden to. Because, apparently that way lies madness. Or douchery. I had the best name picked out too! Like to hear it? Hear it is: Soxymizztoes! Ah? Ah? Genius, no? Ah? Yaaaaaah, ya doesn't know from funny! yer faddah's mustache!

Wait, wait, WAIT!! Is it considered "taboo" to leave long, rambly and occasionally almost insightful comments? How did no one ever tell me this? I almost always run off at the mouth (or fingers) when I leave comments. I will never understand netiquette.

For the record, I think that sock name would be very low-key. No way anyone would guess it was you.

LOL! No, no, that's just my own peculiarity bursting forth. I'm always certain reading my comments are kind of like the on-line version of being at a party and getting trapped in a corner by a long-winded, godawful boring guest.
