Old School Fun:what yer mother's listening to this morning

Pete Rock and CL Smooth:Reminicse Over You

Mary J. Blige and Grand Puba:What's the 4-11?

Naughty By Nature:Everything's Gonna Be All Right

Public Enemy: Don't Believe The Hype

and you *know* Diggable Planets: Re-Birth Of Slick--greatest song evah!

Big Pun (not old school techically, but no one will ever replace Pun):We Don't Care

this is what I'm hearing this fine morning...trying to get in the mood I need to Wrap It Up. Problem? Why yes, thanks for asking! I'm sure I'll get it on track, it's just, well I guess Clark's been hearing what I bin saying about him *koff* and our record streak of working together in harmony is no more, the little bitch! *Now* he's going to F with me! Right at the wrap up he wants to say, "I don't know, I'm not feeling it." *grabs Clubby* Yer gonna feel this, bucko.

Some body hold me back!!

*snickers and eyes Lex* Welcome to my world. My advice? Clark is, despite his protests, rather easy to bribe in my experience. Dig into the trenches and wait out his tantrum, then find out what he wants. Usually it is workable.

Lex? Not so much. Lex likes to make me forget I have dignity, the bastard.

*shares your pain* I can't believe that *now* he wants to do this!

What's his problem with it?

I swear, it's just with me--or maybe it's not working, maybe it's too whiney for him...*throws hands in air* I don't know!

Deep breath. Sometimes you have to coax it out of him. I have a couple Clark-specific tricks that I roll out when he's uncooperative.

1) Visualization. Picture the entire scene in your head, with as much detail as possible. Walk him through it, and wait for that precise second when he makes the scrunchy face of doom. You know which one I'm talking about. Then backtrack and figure out why he is having an issue with it. Sometimes he's a nitpicky boy.

2) Try to reason with him. Explain why you have him saying/doing things that particular way. When he rebuts, and he usually will at first, see if you can get an idea of what's bugging him. Sometimes just thinking it out with him or presenting him with the rationale behind it will work.

3) Bribe him. Put something into the scene that he wants, so he will work with you. Sometimes food works, or a specific type of location or another person (Lex usually) doing something nice for him.

Dang. These are all excellent suggestions--mind you not as satisfying as good ole Clubby, but perhaps it's time for me to put the toys away. *hug*

*chuckles and shrugs* As much fun as it sometimes is to smack Clark around, I prefer to enlist his cooperation in some really bizarre events for my own amusement. Like dying Lionel hot pink and having sock races with Lex in the Kent kitchen.

Clark certainly wrote the book on being bitchy. I mean Alexis Carrington sized bitchy, all he needs is fur coat and a pair of stilettos and he could star in his own soap opera, then again he sort of already does.

I think reasoning with Clark either comes down to speaking very slowly and/or promising him naked Lex and chocolate.

LOL! that seems to be the gist so far-dang! Let me put the club away and try again! *g*
