Well Crap

Apparently Thomas couldn't make it to this ep, so they used the Clarkbot instead. Can we say "wooden"? I knew you could. The best thing this ep was Lionel. My word. What the bloody eff?????

Lex was sleek and pretty and did his best and Vic was a tall drink of sexy.

So in terms of self inflicted slaps to the head, this show rated, out of a possible 5, 4 and 1/2 slaps to the head, most of them delivered during Lana's little speech.

Huh??? wooden??.

A spruce would have been more animated, a maple would have emoted more than Thomas did tonight. *holds nose*

I'm not sure what you mean, but ok...
unless you mean he wasn't Lex's whiney bitch anymore;)
I thought the Clex scenes were hot

Eh, I thought TW was marginally better than last week in "Tomb," but yeah, he doesn't seem to be in the acting zone.

Lionel rocked though...I was a little disappointed the "blackmail" plot was so obviously Lionel playing Martha, but the "your secret is safe with me, Kal-El" at the end added a nice twist. What's going on with Lionel? Full merge with Jor-El? Why would Lionel suddenly care so much about Clark's welfare?

And *god,* just make Lex evil already and get it over with! This wishy-washy evil is annoying.

The guy that played Victor though...hummina! I say again, give *that* guy his own show! Reminded me of the guy that played Gunn on Angel.

Oh Gunn! how I miss you!
Yes, the kid tonight totally stole the show, what a cutie!

I kind lf liked the Jor-el thing--very interesting. But I don't think I could stomach a 'good' Lionel and an evil Lex. And as far as evil Lex goes, so far he just seems kind of...gay. Bitchy gay.

Well of course he's bitchy, he's not getting laid! ^_^ Though now that I think about it, it's kinda like Clark *wants* to be mad at Lex. 'Cause if he's mad at Lex, he won't think about all the hot gay sex he's missing while trying to be "normal" with Lana. *bleah*

By George, I think you've got it!

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2006-02-17 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
*mmmmmmkiss* I love you!

[identity profile] eletryxx.livejournal.com 2006-02-17 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
lex isn't wishy washy anymore- he's full blown evil, he's just real easy and cool about it. i mean cut a few telling scenes and we'd think Clark was overreacting again.

*thumbs up*

And my baby wasn't wooden, he was being 'pretty' :D

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2006-02-17 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe. He's still a little more Priscella, Queen of The Prairie instead of Lex Luthor, Super Evol Genius. Mind you, I actually like him this way!

No one could ever deny that Log Clark is a great big sexy Yum.

...

Five years and it took me the longest time to figure out who you wer talking about. Even with Clarkbot there.

I'm... huh

[identity profile] roxymissrose.livejournal.com 2006-02-17 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
No one calls him Thomas. *grin*

Oh Roxy, I thought he did really well tonight. It's such a phenomenon that people derive such different reactions from the same episode. I got such a Superman vibe from Clark that it made me giddy. Now last week's Tomb...big fat ugh on that one. All of it can be erased from memory, but tonight...tonight I loved my Tommy.

Really? Gosh--that *is* a very different take than mine. I'm sorry, it pretty much came down to Dueling Queens for me. I enjoyed Lex's scenes, but the Clana scenes were painful and Clark came off not so hot next to Lex.
It was great to see Cyborg, and his back story was interesting. But the most important this is that you enjoyed it and that's great--I depend on the people who love it to keep me charged!
